Wonne Afronelly is, indisputably, the Verdant! An award winning Environmental Activist and Youth Advocate, the Radio Producer/Host “My Environment, My Wealth” and "primNproper Africa" on Radio Rivers 99.1 FM and Garden City Radio Port Harcourt. A Volunteer Coordinator of Ocean Conservancy’s Clean Coast Nigeria (CCN) for Rivers and Oyo states since 2012. She coordinated the first Port Harcourt Beach Clean up in 2013 and was the only Pro Environment Float during the Green edition of CARNIRIV. Her work experiences, which have been predominantly volunteering for the past 8 years, cutting across media houses and NGOs for Green Cities, strengthened her self confidence, management, administrative and leadership skills, as well as helped established networks now supportive of her since she started living her dream of changing, educating and saving lives of vulnerable humans independently, three years ago.
